Md. Sadik Al Rayhan

Md. Sadik Al Rayhan is a graduate researcher working in the field of optical instrumentation and applied photonics, with particular interest in the development of compact, data-integrated optical systems for quantitative analysis and sensing. His work focuses on the convergence of optical system design, photonic measurement, and computational data interpretation, aiming to make high-precision analytical tools more accessible and adaptable across diverse domains.

He has been involved in projects that integrate optical hardware design with digital imaging and spectral analysis, contributing to the advancement of portable and intelligent sensing technologies. His research vision centers on bridging fundamental optical science with practical instrumentation, enabling new forms of measurement that are both scientifically rigorous and globally scalable

As Co-Coordinator of the Optima, he contributes to strategic research planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge exchange, supporting the group’s mission to innovate at the intersection of photonics and modern instrumentation.
